  2. Thank you Billie !
I took a Nick Simmons workshop last year and started pouring paint over everything ! But I haven't been able to change over completely to the liquid acrylics.
This is from a photo at the Rolling Thunder in DC last Memorial day.

  3. You lucky dawg...a workshop with Nick? I'm jealous.;) I bought some fluid acrylics after watching Nick's demo on DVD. They scare me cuz they're so permanent. Once they're dry, that's it!

  4. I hear ya. But that's also the nice thing about them. When they dry you can do anything over top without moving them. The hard part is putting them down and leaving it alone. :/

  6. Wonderful blog and wonderful paintings, Janet. I often wonder myself if I should do a series paintings but what would it be? I go through periods of Streams then clouds and recently even some snow things.[Seems we are getting a lot of that] Too many interests to delve into any one thing.

  7. Hi Gary !
Thank you so very much for your kind comments. Oh boy do I hear what you're saying about too many interests. Sometimes I feel like a ball in a pinball machine bouncing from one thing to an other. How exciting to find a friend in WY ! I hope you got to read my post about my childhood trip to the Tetons. I finally got my family back there 40 years later. Oh how I envy you living there...well except maybe in the winter. I'm a fair weather naturalist, I guess. :)
