Exciting news ! One of the newest corn paintings has been admitted to the Missouri Watercolor Society's national show this year. The show will take place April through May in Fulton, MO at the Winston Churchill Memorial .
This is a gorgeous painting!! Congratulations. Looks like I'm hanging with good company - my painting was also juried in. I wish I could attend, but live too far away. Will you be attending?
Hi Billie! Thanks so much! This one is 12 X 30 image size & I framed it 18 X 36. I've done a couple more of the same corn cob (one's a full sheet) & waiting to hear from other shows. Got fingers crossed. Which makes it hard to paint !
Thanks Krista, I started doing long & narrow a couple years ago 'cause there always seemed to be a "spot" in my other paintings that was the source of interest, ie: the corner of a building, but I felt I should do the entire building. So, one day I did just the corner and it made for a more interesting painting. At least for me. :)
