Ooops ! Must have been one of my frequent senior moments ! How could I have forgotten that I had done an other floral ! I guess that because it wasn't done super realisticly, I didn't think of it. Still, don't look for me to take over the market on floral paintings .
Very nice Janet, love the bg and your colors
ReplyDeleteNow this is what I'm talking about! Not your everyday sunflower painting to be sure. Way to go, Janet!!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you Krista ! I'm glad to have you looking in ! OH, what I would do to paint in your part of the world. Color me envious.
ReplyDeleteBillie...Down Girl ! Take it easy. It's a flower.
It's more than a flower. It's a statement, an interpretation! I see beautiful realistic florals all the time that I admire for the artist's technical skills but this one would definitely grab my eye and hold it if I saw it on a wall.:)
ReplyDeleteThank you again, Billie. You mentioned something a post or two ago about sizes. I always forget to include the sizes when I post. Still learning the ropes to this blogging thing. The sunflower is a full sheet and I used the fluid acrylics after Nicks workshop was still fresh in my mind. There was a lotta learning took place in that painting. I'm glad that you like it.
ReplyDeleteJanet I LOVE that sunflower flora - YOU ARE EXTREMELY TALENTED

Hi Gary,
ReplyDeleteThank you for those wonderful words and clicking to enlarge. I have to take care to make sure the photos are right for enlarging. Some of the first posts weren't so great. How's the weather out there ? Any more snow ?! Regards to Miss Teton.
Thanks Liz !
OH WOW ! Just saw your painting Russian Man on Facebook tonight. Liz that is SUPER! Gotta go back and take an other look.
